The Federal Trade Commission as well as several states have begun
investigating the role that Pharmacy Benefit Managers play in
determining how much insurers, employers, and unions pay for
prescription drugs. The FTC suggests that the market power of PBMS
costs pharmacists (and pharmaceutical companies) money, while the
PBMs argue that they are a necessary counterweight to the market
power possessed by pharmaceutical companies. Our panelists will
